Breathing New Life into a 1929 Historic Structure

Alesia Architecture, led by Rich Onken, provided project management, coordination, and phased construction design for the renovation of the West Tower and Staff Entrance. Design included three new gearless electric traction elevators and elevator landings in two separate additions, office and computer training room renovations, repair to roof and tower brick to resolve water penetration, and restoration of the historic entrance to this building.

The Alesia team worked with facility engineers to ensure the design would be compatible with the future projects in the master plan. The project design enhanced and modernized the entrance while complying with historic, physical security, and handicapped accessibility requirements.
