As a registered architect and senior project manager with more than 25 years of planning and design experience, Rich has become an expert in healthcare and federal planning, design, construction, and acquisition practices. His experience in planning, developing, and implementing nationwide construction and renovation programs for major organizations spans 14 countries.

Rich received his Bachelor’s in Architectural Studies from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and his Master’s in International Relations from Troy University in Troy, AL. He is a service-disabled veteran, retired from the U.S. Air Force at the rank of Lt. Colonel in 2009. The last five years of his service were in the capacity of Chief, Healthcare Design, for the Air Force Surgeon General. In civilian life, he has led teams of healthcare facility designers, architects, and engineers on projects totaling $1.5 billion.
